Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in payment solutions for Small, Medium (SME) and Global and Large (G&L) enterprises. The Corporate Solutions team within Global Commercial Products is responsible for developing and managing a suite of corporate payment and spend enablement solutions uniquely differentiated through innovative benefits, features and partnerships underpinned by seamless digital experiences.

As the corporate payments ecosystem rapidly evolves, we are committed to strengthening our leadership position. As such, we are creating a new Corporate Program Product Management organization to bring together all core corporate payment products including corporate cards, central billing solutions (Business Travel Account), and virtual cards. The team will spearhead the creation of best-in-class payment experiences and capabilities meeting the evolving needs of G&L and US Middle Market (MM) customers.

Within this organization, the Next Gen Corporate Program team will be responsible for the strategic articulation of our corporate program positioning and innovation roadmap. The Sr. Associate, Corporate Product Line Strategy will play a key role in driving this forward by supporting the development of a cohesive product-line strategy across our full suite of Corporate Solutions to reinforce and future-proof our leadership position in the corporate payments space.

Key Responsibilities:

Synthesize external market research, competitive analysis, and "voice of customer" to understand evolving customer needs and key trends transforming the payments and travel ecosystemIdentify key insights to support development of the mid-to-long term innovation roadmap for Amex's Corporate Program including corporate card, central bill, and virtual card product linesMonitor key performance metrics and portfolio dynamics to identify expansion and growth opportunities across US MM & G&LCollaborate with key partners across the organization (including G&L/US MM Field, Go-to-Market CoE, Partnerships, Marketing, SPT, Finance, Technology, etc.) to develop and prioritize data-driven investment cases for initiatives, and support efforts to bring them to market Minimum Qualifications: Highly analytical, with the ability to conduct qualitative & quantitative research to inform data-backed insight and decisions Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis and new concepts to a variety of stakeholders Critical thinker who maintains an external perspective and thrives in a fast-paced environmentStrong collaborator with the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder map and influence othersExperience partnering with sales/business development organizations and partner managementInterest in the future of corporate payments, and the evolution of what a corporate program means to clients (e.g. travel & expense management)2+ years of strategy and/or product management experience Preferred Qualifications: Some understanding of core corporate products and the needs of our Middle Market and Global & Large customers to drive customer-centric solutionsPrevious experience in consulting or strategy Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
