Access Executive Development Program Overview:

Access is in search of exceptional candidates for its Access Creating Executives Program ("ACE Program"). This role offers practical experience and insights into the operational best practices and tactics involved in executing Access' portfolio strategy.

As part of the ACE Program, candidates ("ACEs") will serve as senior team members within an Access portfolio company, providing direct support to C-Suite executives in critical operational areas such as Finance, M&A/Strategy, Development, and Marketing. ACEs are expected to enhance, implement, and document best practices within their roles, thereby developing a robust operational skill set.

ACEs will engage in Access activities, training sessions, and summits alongside other executives and ACEs throughout the Access portfolio. They will collaborate with Access to build competencies, share insights with fellow ACEs, develop operational playbooks, and provide training to executives as necessary. This role also involves leveraging key learnings across the current and future portfolio while spearheading projects and identifying new investment opportunities.

The performance of each ACE will be jointly assessed by the portfolio company and Access, with top performers potentially advancing into other areas within the Access Holdings ecosystem. ACEs will be well-positioned for future C-Suite roles within Access' portfolio companies or on the Access investment team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate directly with the CEO, CFO, COO, and business-unit leaders to implement critical initiatives in M&A, real estate, strategy, and operations.
  • Develop and maintain a deal flow database by identifying potential acquisition targets and preparing detailed due diligence reports and analyses.
  • Lead the formulation of the corporate real estate strategy and drive effective execution.
  • Prepare and review investment memoranda, financial models, letters of intent, and report on investment pipeline activities.
  • Analyze data to support recommendations for sale-leasebacks, acquisitions, dispositions, REIT formation, hold versus sell analysis, market studies, and highest and best use analysis.
  • Conduct due diligence, oversee third-party diligence workstreams, collaborate with functional areas to underwrite investment opportunities, and lead integration efforts.
  • Create comprehensive financial models and return analyses for M&A and new developments.
  • Work closely with Access Holdings, providing regular updates, participating in board meetings, and addressing ad hoc requests as necessary.
  • Participate in ACE training, social events, and networking opportunities.

Requirements:
  • MBA from a top-tier program or equivalent experience with a leading investment bank or management consulting firm.
  • 6+ years of experience in a top-tier investment bank, real estate, consulting firm, or a related corporate development role.
  • Experience in multi-unit and/or retail real estate is required.
  • Experience with REITs (public and/or private) is strongly preferred.
  • Legal background and capital markets experience are preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
