The Assistant Director of Human Resource should have HR generalist knowledge, and be versed in the areas of benefits, workforce planning, recruitment and staffing strategies, wage and salary administration, associate and labor relations, workforce training and development, and local diversity initiatives. This highly visible role assists in short- and long-term planning of the HR function and is heavily involved in executing the HR initiatives.

Responsiibilities include:
  • Recruiting and Staffing strategies in partnership w/ Talent Acquisition and Dir. Of HR
  • Salary workup oversight partnership w/ Talent Acquisition and Dir. Of HR
  • Exchange Visitors program oversight partnership w/ HR Coordinator
  • Training needs analysis and coordination with HR Coordinator
  • Workers comp and safety oversight/investigation/difficult cases
  • Coaching and Counseling
  • Day to day HR office operations
  • Day to day department guidance
  • Presence in the department pre-shifts (overall operations)
  • Market analysis (new hotels, competitors, rates of pay)
  • Succession Planning
  • Just in time Feedback
