Job Overview

Position Title: Licensed Clinical Manager

Reports To: Program Director

Position Summary:

The Licensed Clinical Manager is responsible for delivering clinical guidance and oversight to both staff and program participants. This role involves collaborating with the Program Director to design, implement, and evaluate programmatic systems that align with best practices and meet the needs of the community. A strong commitment to the values of Resources for Human Development is essential in fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision:

  • Oversee and assess staff performance, including managing Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation and approving clinical notes as necessary.

Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and uphold program policies and procedures, ensuring continuous quality improvement initiatives are in place.

Administrative Management:

  • Oversee the program or department budget and ensure proper allocation of resources.
  • Coordinate and document treatment services for individuals and groups within the program.

Direct Clinical Support:

  • Maintain a caseload of clients as needed, which includes:
  • Integrating input from various stakeholders into comprehensive treatment plans with measurable objectives.
  • Providing crisis intervention support from a trauma-informed perspective.
  • Conducting screenings and assessments using validated tools to evaluate mental health and substance use issues.
  • Timely documentation of all clinical interactions.
  • Offering clinical supervision to staff pursuing licensure as mandated by state regulations.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by the Program Director.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or a related discipline is required.
  • Possession of a Clinical Mental Health license (LPC, LCSW, LISW) as per state or local regulations.
  • A minimum of five years of experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, or homelessness.
  • At least three years of experience in a managerial role overseeing a diverse team of clinicians and healthcare professionals.

Working Conditions:

This role is primarily office-based, requiring frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching.

Physical Requirements:

  • Heavy lifting: ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly.
