Apply today to join the Public Relations and Digital Communications team as a Talent Acquisition Marketing Senior, responsible for enhancing Freddie Mac's talent acquisition and recruitment marketing's public image through digital content creation for use across multiple channels.

We conceptualize awareness campaigns to raise the profile of Freddie Mac and the services provided to showcase the impact of our work. We're responsible for the design and implementation of effective communications and marketing strategies, the optimization of existing campaigns, and the creation of new content and strategy. We provide creative direction within the approved brand framework and implement standard processes for marketing, including analytics, SEM/SEO, email marketing, social media marketing, and content amplification.

We build Freddie Mac's cohesive and differentiated positioning to grow our reputation as a transformational organization in the housing market. We break down barriers to understanding and engagement through accessible and engaging content and effective marketing of Freddie Mac tools and resources. We amplify Freddie Mac initiatives across all channels to build a connection between Freddie Mac and its various audiences with the intention of increasing engagement, followers and advocates. We're seeking a talent acquisition and recruitment marketer passionate about telling stories across digital channels that improve brand awareness and attract top-quality candidates.

The digital communications team is the connective tissue that unites Freddie Mac's purpose, products and services in a cohesive manner. We take our role as a voice of Freddie Mac seriously and know the importance we play as stewards of Freddie Mac's profile and reputation.

Your work falls into the following two categories:

Content & Digital Strategy

  • Develop messaging and implement strategic communications plans supporting our talent acquisition and recruitment marketing team.
  • Lead development, planning and execution of strategic content for Freddie Mac's talent acquisition and recruitment marketing digital communications channels. Including drafting monthly social and content calendars, blogs, thought leadership, advertising copy and other digital assets.
  • Use data to define, measure and report on performance, as well as inform go-forward strategies.
  • Develop campaigns and long-term projects, from strategy brief to creative execution.
  • Integrate communications initiatives across advertising, social, web and other digital platforms to ensure messages are tailored to and resonate with target audiences.
  • Apply best practices in digital communications to improve reach, engagement, SEO, etc.
  • Develop creative methods for delivering value in a driven environment.
Collaboration
  • Partner with colleagues on various teams including media relations, in-house creative agency, research, and internal communications to plan and implement coordinated digital content strategy.
  • Stay abreast of current communications, talent acquisition and recruitment marketing trends to drive continuous improvement through tools, technology, process and people.
  • Support some corporate executives with thought leadership or other communications initiatives.
  • Wear multiple hats, work independently and drive projects forward.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7+ years of related experience.
  • College degree in a communications field or equivalent experience.
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills with expertise in both long- and short-form writing (applicant may be asked to submit writing samples and take a writing test).
  • Creative problem solver who can connect the company's objectives to compelling content in a variety of formats.
  • Strong understanding of communications planning, creation, publishing, monitoring, and measurement methods and tools.
  • Public Relations agency, media relations and/or Capitol Hill experience a plus.
  • Ability to understand and translate complex subject matter for multiple audiences.
