Position Overview:
The Strategic Talent Management Consultant serves as a key advisor and primary point of contact for Talent Management and Human Resources, collaborating closely with senior leadership within designated accounts. This role leverages advanced consulting skills and extensive expertise in the HR domain to deliver operational support to leaders, managers, and employees throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and guidance on complex, urgent matters related to performance and behavior management, talent development, disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, and risk evaluation.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational dynamics, enhance employee engagement, and assess potential risks.
- Formulate strategies to foster the growth and diverse development of top talent using data-driven insights and analytics.
- Identify and engage with relevant subject matter experts from People Services Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated solutions that address critical business challenges.
- Develop comprehensive Integrated Talent Plans that outline the various people processes and programs necessary for achieving business objectives.
- Lead initiatives in talent planning, succession planning, and demand forecasting, while facilitating issue resolution and advising leaders on risk-related matters.
- Design and implement strategies and metrics to enhance engagement, retention, development, mobility, talent acquisition, and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources roles.
- At least 5 years of experience in consulting on the revision of organizational policies and HR programs.
- 2+ years of project management experience.
- Proven experience in managing daily employee relations.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and consult with senior leaders to provide business and people-focused solutions.
- Familiarity with policies, procedures, training, compensation, benefits, performance management, recruitment, resource management, and diversity initiatives.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to develop and present compelling business cases.
- Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Human Resources is preferred.
Additional Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exhibit leadership agility, sound judgment, and influential capabilities.
- Ability to create professional briefings and presentations for diverse audiences, including executives.
- Excellent leadership and consulting skills to effectively engage with senior leaders and manage teams.
- SPHR or PHR Certification is a plus.
