Position Overview:

The Strategic Talent Management Consultant serves as a pivotal advisor and primary liaison for Talent Management and Human Resources, focusing on senior leadership within designated sectors. This role leverages advanced consulting skills and comprehensive industry knowledge within the Human Resources domain to deliver operational support to executives, managers, and staff across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert coaching and guidance on intricate, urgent matters related to performance and behavior management, talent development, disciplinary procedures, policy interpretation, and risk evaluation.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational landscapes, enhance engagement and employee experience, and identify potential risks.
  • Implement strategies to foster the growth and diverse development of top talent, utilizing data-driven insights and analytics.
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant subject matter experts from People Services Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated solutions addressing critical business challenges.
  • Design and execute comprehensive Integrated Talent Plans that outline various people processes and programs to support business objectives.
  • Lead initiatives in talent planning, succession planning, and demand forecasting, while driving issue resolution and advising leaders on risk-related matters.
  • Develop metrics and strategies to enhance engagement, retention, development, mobility, talent acquisition, and initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources roles.
  • At least 5 years of experience consulting on the revision of organizational policies and HR programs.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience in managing daily employee relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and consult with senior leaders to provide tailored business and people solutions.
  • Familiarity with policies, procedures, training, compensation, benefits, performance management, recruiting, resource management, and diversity initiatives.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to develop and present compelling business cases.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exhibit leadership agility, sound judgment, and influential capabilities.
  • Ability to create professional briefings and presentations for diverse audiences, including executives.
  • Possess exceptional leadership and consulting skills to effectively engage with senior leaders and guide teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred; Master's degree in Human Resources is a plus.
  • SPHR or PHR Certification is advantageous.
