Job Summary

MITRE is seeking a highly skilled Lead Intelligence Acquisition Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Strategy and Policy Department, you will play a critical role in driving innovative solutions and thought leadership to support the Intelligence Community's (IC) acquisition efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Acquisition Efforts: Oversee the entire acquisition life cycle, from conceptualization to post-award contract management, to ensure the successful delivery of benefits and services to our mission partners.
  • Advise Government Sponsors: Provide expert guidance on acquisition strategy, roadmap, and repeatable processes to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Develop Acquisition Artifacts: Create requirements documents, requests for proposals, source selection plans, acquisition plans, risk management plans, cost estimates, and other necessary documents.
  • Provide Acquisition Support: Offer market analysis, cost analysis, requirements, rough orders of magnitude, and contract changes to support the acquisition process.
  • Participate in Source Selection: Assist in evaluating proposals, recommending evaluation factors, and analyzing offer data.
  • Research and Implement Innovative Solutions: Identify and develop new acquisition approaches to bring capabilities to programs faster and more cost-effectively.
Requirements
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Skills: Experience providing acquisition support to the IC, developing repeatable acquisition processes, and providing pre- and post-award acquisition support.
  • Certifications: DAWIA Contracting Level II or III or NCMA CFCM or CPCM certification; DAWIA Program Management Level II or III or PMI PMP certification.
