The EPC Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting a designated salesperson to drive business by selling photovoltaic (PV) modules and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) services in the utility-scale market within the United States. The EPC Sales Specialist would support both EPC sales and module sales opportunities. This position reports to the Senior EPC Sales Director/Director/Senior Manager, or another management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position reports to the Irvine, CA office but will maintain an In-Office or hybrid schedule of working out of their home office and the Irvine, CA office. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 30% of the time.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the designated salesperson in various tasks, such as preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up with customers
  • Keep track of sales activities, including recording sales, preparing reports, and providing feedback to salesperson and management
  • Have a thorough understanding of the PV module products and EPC services being sold to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers and designated salesperson
  • Collaborate effectively with the salesperson and other team members to achieve sales targets and provide a positive customer experience
  • Support to resolve customer issues and address any challenges that arise during the sales process
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to ensure business goals are achieved
  • Analyze and comprehend the market dynamics and needs
  • All other duties as assigned by the designated Senior EPC Sales Director/Director/Senior Manager
  • Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in solar or EPC industries
  • Excellent teamwork to collaborate with designated salesperson and other team members
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred; experience in tier-1 solar module manufacturers and/or top EPC companies highly preferred
  • Full proficiency in productivity software (e.g. Microsoft Office, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Creative drive for entrepreneurial opportunities and the flexibility to work with many different types of customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
