Role Objective

The primary focus is to enhance patient outcomes by engaging key decision-makers who can influence systemic improvements through the redesign of patient pathways. This involves collaboration among consultants, general practitioners, and laboratories to achieve superior patient results. You will be responsible for driving sales and activities within designated accounts as defined by the organization through effective planning and execution of territory key account strategies. Compliance with all relevant standards established by the company and the Clinical Sales Manager is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture positive relationships with clients and local key opinion leaders, documenting interactions through CRM SFDC.
  • Maintain current knowledge of products and therapeutic areas proactively.
  • Drive business growth (Test Volume & Sales) in the designated area or region according to the annual business plan.
  • Adhere to internal processes, regulations, and the MedTech code of conduct in all interactions with healthcare professionals.
Decision-Making Authority
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team, Customer Service, Marketing, and General Management within the Southern Europe Sales organization.
Main Duties

Summary

  • Understand the company's clinical and team management priorities and their impact on the territory.
  • Capitalize on business opportunities and provide additional services to clients.
  • Compile, oversee, and evaluate performance against a strategic business plan, making recommendations accordingly.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients (laboratories and clinicians) and local key opinion leaders, documenting these interactions via Veeva CRM.
  • Support laboratory clients in their growth by executing co-marketing initiatives within target units.
  • Coordinate and lead clinical promotional sales meetings.
  • Implement informative workshops for primary care and develop advocates in secondary care for primary care.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships in key accounts to protect and expand business.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions and share relevant information with colleagues through SFDC.
  • Provide the Clinical Sales Manager with accurate and timely data and market reports, including follow-up actions within specified timelines.
  • Update detailed records of activities and actions in key account plans.
  • Ensure all appointments and scheduled events are accurately recorded.
  • Supervise all company expenditures within the territory, ensuring budget compliance and timely submission of expense reports.
  • Represent the company professionally, adhering to company policies.
  • Engage with customers and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain company property to the highest standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a sales role within the In Vitro Diagnostic, Medical Device, or healthcare sectors.
  • Proficient in strategic and sophisticated selling techniques, with the ability to communicate using scientific and medical terminology.
  • Results-driven with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assimilate information to gain support for resources and changes.
  • Exemplify the 4-I Values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement) and possess a successful track record in a clinical sales environment.
  • Fluency in Italian and English at a professional level.

Educational Qualifications

  • Preferred degree in a scientific or medical field: Master 2 or equivalent in Science (Biology, Clinical Biology, Immunology, Pharmacy, etc.).
  • Technical proficiency in digital tools.
  • Specific expertise in professional selling and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with Med-tech Code compliance.
