Role Objective

The primary focus is on enhancing patient outcomes by engaging key decision-makers who can drive systemic improvements through the redesign of patient pathways. This involves collaboration with consultants, general practitioners, and laboratories to achieve superior patient results. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets and activities within designated accounts as outlined by the organization through effective planning and execution of territory key account strategies. Compliance with all relevant standards established by the company and the Clinical Sales Manager is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish, nurture, and expand positive relationships with clients and local opinion leaders, documenting interactions via CRM SFDC.
  • Continuously update knowledge of products and therapeutic areas.
  • Drive business growth (Test Volume & Sales) in the designated area or region according to the annual business plan.
  • Adhere to internal processes, regulations, and the MedTech code of conduct in all interactions with healthcare professionals.
Decision-Making Authority
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team, Customer Service, Marketing, and General Management within the Southern Europe Sales organization.
Main Duties

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Understand the company's clinical and team management priorities and their impact on the territory.
  • Identify business opportunities and enhance service offerings to clients.
  • Compile, monitor, and evaluate performance against a strategic business plan, providing recommendations as necessary.
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with clients (laboratories and clinicians) and local opinion leaders, documenting interactions via Veeva CRM.
  • Support laboratory clients in their growth by implementing co-marketing initiatives within target units.
  • Coordinate and facilitate clinical promotional sales meetings.
  • Conduct informative workshops for primary care and develop advocates in secondary care.
  • Build strong partnerships in key accounts to protect and expand business.
  • Maintain daily records of customer interactions and share relevant data with colleagues via SFDC.
  • Provide the Clinical Sales Manager with accurate and timely data and market insights, including follow-up actions within established timelines.
  • Keep detailed records of activities and actions in key account plans.
  • Ensure all appointments and scheduled events are accurately recorded.
  • Supervise all company expenditures within the territory, ensuring budget compliance and timely submission of expense reports.
  • Represent the company professionally, adhering to company policies.
  • Engage with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain company assets to the highest standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in a sales role within the In Vitro Diagnostic, Medical Device, or healthcare sectors.
  • Proficient in strategic and sophisticated selling techniques, with the ability to communicate effectively using scientific and medical terminology.
  • Results-driven with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Adept at assimilating information to gain support for resources and changes.
  • Exemplify the 4-I Values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement) with a proven track record in a clinical sales environment.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Educational Background

  • Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline (Biology, Clinical Biology, Immunology, Pharmacy, etc.).
  • Technical proficiency in digital tools.
  • Expertise in professional selling and negotiation techniques.
  • Experience with Med-tech Code compliance.
