As an Amazon Marketing Specialist for Optimal, you are responsible for planning, building and optimizing Amazon Ad campaigns and product listings to drive real business results for our clients.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Creation – Build Amazon ad campaigns from the ground up, including account set-up, campaign planning/organization, competitive analysis, keyword research, and ad copy writing.
  • Campaign Management & Optimization – Manage campaigns to ensure that they continually improve over time. Test and optimize bids, keywords, text ads, image ads, video ads and landing pages to improve campaign performance.
  • Organic Listing Management– Optimize Amazon product detail pages including titles, bullets, descriptions, images, and A+ content for higher conversion rate and search ranking.
  • Catalog Troubleshooting – Identify and promptly respond to marketplace issues, such as suspended or suppressed listings, undesirable attribute changes, inventory issues, loss of buy box, etc.
  • Reporting & Analysis – Master the art of performance analysis and client reporting through the daily use of tools such as Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Ads, DSP/STV and more.

Minimum Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising, economics, finance, analytics; or relevant experience through school and/or internships
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Ads and/or product listings in Seller/Vendor Central
  • Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads or other PPC channels is also a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and client relationship skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Office Hours

This role is based out of our Austin office. Our Austin team works on a hybrid basis, with three days per week working in the office and two days per week working from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
