Role Overview:
Healthcare Security Specialists serve as advisors and collaborators to Amazon Healthcare developers and product managers. We proactively assess and address risks in designs, infrastructure, and code. Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering within a software development environment across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 5+ years of experience in security testing, threat modeling, code reviews, and creating secure designs.
- 2+ years of experience in developing secure frameworks and contributing to risk-based design and development decisions.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, and C-family languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in delivering solutions that lower the cost of security adoption.
- Experience contributing to software applications, including open-source projects.
- Familiarity with AWS services.
