As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join the ACTI Engineering Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:
- Utilize Python or similar scripting languages for task automation and data manipulation.
- Employ SQL, EMR, and data manipulation libraries such as Spark or Pandas.
- Grasp concepts related to scaling processing using instrumentation capabilities like Step Functions, Airflow, or other AWS services.
- Develop data pipelines.
- Collaborate on the design, implementation, and maintenance of our threat intelligence platform, including malware analysis and handling systems.
- Aggregate data from intelligence communities, threat intelligence platforms, open-source data repositories, and additional sources.
- Write automation scripts to enhance the threat intelligence platform and data pipelines.
- Demonstrate practical knowledge in managing threat data to support our missions.
- Utilize Vertex Synapse and storm query language.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems, focusing on design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
- Experience mentoring, leading, or managing an engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
