We are currently looking for a Serdes/PCIE PHY Specialist to play a pivotal role in the design, definition, and validation of the next generation of machine learning chips and server integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers to innovate and implement advanced machine learning hardware.
  • Engage with vendors to understand specifications, develop and modify testing protocols, and analyze data effectively.
  • Lead the integration of intellectual property, focusing on 2.5D design, bring-up, characterization, and validation processes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in silicon development, with at least 3 years focused on SOC, IO, or subsystems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Serdes and PCIE at both the PHY and controller levels, including a thorough understanding of PHY component operations.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard protocols such as PCIE.
  • Experience in test chip characterization and compliance testing.
  • Proficient in post-silicon testing, including shmoo analysis, BER, PRBS, and equalization settings.
  • Ability to drive IP integration and silicon design, as well as support physical design teams with clocking and timing reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading post-silicon bring-up efforts, including test planning and execution.
  • Strong debugging skills and the ability to perform root-cause analysis during various phases of development.
  • Experience collaborating with third-party IP vendors.
  • Proficient in firmware development within embedded systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
