Role Overview

As a senior member of our platform development team, you will have a significant opportunity to engage in the design and execution of all Serdes and PCIE-related topics. Your contributions will be essential in creating customized platforms that align with Amazon's world-leading technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects, design teams, and software engineers to deliver innovative machine learning chips.
  • Take ownership of IP integration, 2.5D design, bring-up, characterization, and validation processes.
  • Work independently with vendors to understand settings, modify tests, debug issues, and collect relevant data.
  • Drive cross-functional efforts to resolve complex functional and performance challenges.
  • Lead post-silicon bring-up activities, including the development and execution of test plans.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Over 7 years of experience in silicon development, with at least 3 years focused on SOC, IO, or subsystems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Serdes and PCIE at both the PHY and controller levels.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard protocols such as PCIE.
  • Experience in test chip characterization and compliance testing.

  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
