Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities in the design and construction industry.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the business community, leveraging networking to uncover new project leads.
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to clients by understanding their needs and delivering personalized solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring smooth transition to internal teams for project execution.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including design, order, delivery, and installation personnel, to ensure project success.
  • Maintain a strong presence throughout the sales process, keeping clients informed and engaged.
  • Represent the company at networking events and industry functions, cultivating the company's reputation and visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, with a strong track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets.
  • Background in a related industry such as construction products, architectural design, or workspace solutions.
  • Strong ability to engage with "C" level executives and build high-level relationships.
  • Sophisticated approach to sales and business development with a consultative mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to deliver solutions and drive results.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a passion for growth and learning.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively solve problems, and find ways to make things work.

Compensation:

  • Base salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience).
  • Commission-based compensation with potential ramp-up.
  • Flexibility for the right candidate – compensation can be adjusted for exceptional experience.
