Affordable Housing Community Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to join our team at Solari Enterprises, Inc. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our affordable housing community, ensuring a stable and secure living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Staff: Lead and direct a team of community staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of community operations.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, maintaining accurate records and files in compliance with established management procedures and funding agency regulations.
- Resident Services: Process applicants and lease units, following the guidelines of the Resident Selection Criteria, and maintain relationships with local government agencies, such as HUD and TAC.
- Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct regular follow-up inspections on maintenance work, grounds, and common areas, ensuring the community meets all regulatory requirements.
- Financial Management: Collect rents and handle delinquent accounts, ensuring timely payment and minimizing financial losses.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on affordable housing and supportive services.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise and manage staff, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other general computer skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- Bilingual Fluency: Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Yardi program and other property management software.
- Regulatory Knowledge: General knowledge of fair housing, 504 ADA, HUD, and Section 42 regulations.
- Certifications: Certified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO) - Section 8 only, Specialist in Housing Credit Management Designation (SHCM) - Section 42 only, Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) Certification, and Fair Housing Coordinator (FHC) Certification.
- Compensation: $33.00/hour.
