PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TEAM

The Property Management team plays a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of our vibrant communities. They are not just managers; they are relationship builders and the essence of MidPen Housing.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role reports to the Director of Property Operations and is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of multi-family properties, ensuring strong financial performance, regulatory compliance, and effective teamwork.

The Community Property Supervisor will manage:

  • Fiscal Management
  • Compliance Oversight
  • Facilities Management
  • Risk Management
  • Tenant Relations
  • Employee Supervision
  • Community Engagement
  • Partnership Development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with Asset Management and Human Resources;
  • Monitoring financial performance and compliance with company policies;
  • Developing annual budgets in partnership with various teams;
  • Ensuring adherence to compliance requirements and maintaining certifications;
  • Managing property maintenance and safety standards;
  • Overseeing tenant relations and ensuring a positive living environment;
  • Leading and mentoring Community Managers to enhance performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • An Associate degree with three years of multi-family residential management experience, or a Bachelor's degree with five or more years of relevant experience;
  • Tax Credit Specialist and Certified Occupancy Specialist certifications;
  • A minimum of four years of supervisory experience in multi-family property management;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software;
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
