This full-time, non-exempt role involves overseeing the operations of a community, ensuring effective management under the guidance of the Regional Manager. The Community Operations Manager will handle various responsibilities, including administration, maintenance oversight, staff direction, and resource management to achieve stable financial performance.
About Us
Solari Enterprises, Inc. is a comprehensive property management firm specializing in multifamily affordable housing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all community staff members
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Ensure resident files are maintained accurately in line with management protocols and funding agency standards
- Process tenant applications and manage leasing in accordance with established Resident Selection Criteria
- Foster relationships with local governmental bodies, including HUD and TAC
- Conduct routine inspections of maintenance work, grounds, and communal areas
- Manage rent collection and address delinquent accounts
Required Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in property management
- Proven experience in supervising team members
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs
- Experience managing inspections from agencies such as HUD and TCAC
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer applications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Access to reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Experience with Yardi software
- Knowledge of fair housing laws, 504 ADA, HUD, and Section 42 regulations
- Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) for Section 8
- Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) for Section 42
- Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) certification
- Fair Housing Coordinator (FHC) certification
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage of $23.00
- Two-bedroom unit provided
