About the Role

Property Management, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Community Director to oversee the operational and financial management of scattered site apartment communities within Pennsylvania. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring occupancy targets are achieved, creating value for clients, and partnering with facilities and leadership teams to maintain peak performance levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Ensure occupancy targets are achieved through leasing and resident retention, and create value for clients through meeting NOI and revenue goals.
  • Financial Management: Oversee and contribute to the annual budget process, and maintain a general knowledge of any new development or sales transactions in the geographic market under management.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Partner with facilities and leadership teams to ensure physical assets are operating at peak performance levels, and proactively build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Performance Management: Ensure operational execution yields consistently strong resident satisfaction survey results, and oversee execution of proactive and timely reputation management strategies.
  • Talent Development: Effectively leverage talent within the portfolio, promoting from within while supplementing with external talent that exemplifies the PMI brand, and develop a succession plan to anticipate needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in affordable housing, with a strong background in property management and leadership.
  • Education: BA/BS degree required, with a focus on business or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong financial aptitude and analytical skills, with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders and communicate effectively with clients and vendors.
  • Certifications: ARM designation desired, with a strong understanding of property management software platforms.
