As an Assistant Community Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing community, ensuring a stable and secure living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of community operations, including general administration, maintenance, and resident services.
- Supervise and direct on-site personnel, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent service to residents.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction, retention, and overall community performance.
- Collaborate with regional managers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the community meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Manage and resolve resident complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing.
- Proven track record of success in supervising staff and managing community operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications relevant to property management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
- Experience with Yardi or other property management software.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws, Section 8, and other relevant regulations.
- Certifications such as CPO, SHCM, or RAM.
