Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our Hotspot sales team in the Baltimore, MD area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and related metrics to maximize company revenue.

This is an outside sales position that requires a strong ability to build relationships with retailers, drive sales volume, and manage dealer inventory levels. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of meeting performance goals and requirements in a sales environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years of experience in wireless retail sales or training, with a strong understanding of the prepaid wireless industry. They will be highly self-motivated, independent, and able to take initiative and problem solve.

The Sales and Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Driving company revenue through sales and business development efforts
  • Increasing customer activations in the assigned territory
  • Growing the distribution and ensuring retailers have an adequate supply of stock and merchandising materials
  • Educating and training retailers on service offerings, systems, and processes
  • Maintaining and building relationships with store personnel
  • Improving the customer experience within retail environments
  • Reporting daily activity, store-level conditions, trends, and competitive data
  • Providing feedback on retailer and consumer interactions
  • Developing and implementing a business plan for the designated region, driving measurable results for stores
  • Conducting store visits and phone calls within the region
  • Continuing to expand sales through establishing and maintaining retailer contacts
  • Strengthening brand awareness in the channel through merchandising and display maintenance

The Sales and Business Development Manager will be a key member of our team, working closely with retailers and other stakeholders to drive sales and business growth. Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in wireless retail sales or training
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Any combination of education and experience
  • Highly self-motivated and independent
  • Prior success meeting performance goals and requirements
  • Ability to take initiative and problem solve
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to coordinate and direct projects
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours to participate in evening and weekend events
  • Valid driver's license (at least 2 years in the US)
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
