Role Summary:

This position is accountable for overseeing intricate and high-risk cross-functional initiatives related to Line of Business products and processes. Key responsibilities encompass collaborating with business units to devise strategies for sustaining change, assessing current practices, and spearheading improvements. The role serves as the main liaison for department leaders on critical change initiatives, employing tools to document program performance and influencing stakeholders to implement strategic modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define roles and responsibilities for essential project tasks, ensuring the execution of programs through deliverable tracking, project planning, and performance measurement.
  • Champion the adoption and sustainability of change initiatives while evaluating associated risks.
  • Direct the documentation of remediation requirements based on identified gaps and necessary controls for sustained performance.
  • Strategically plan and manage programs using appropriate methodologies and tools, including technology platforms and change management frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated delivery plan, identifying risks, formulating mitigation strategies, and escalating issues to relevant stakeholders.

Department Overview:

This role is situated within the AML Platform Management and Transformation team, which is integral to the execution of the AML Regulatory agenda. The position demands a proactive approach to mitigating risks and addressing issues while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Team Dynamics:

The AML Platform Management and Transformation team is tasked with coordinating technical solutions and outcomes to meet AML operational and compliance requirements.

Essential Duties:

  • Engage with stakeholders across all organizational levels to manage expectations and address issues.
  • Document business requirements and collaborate with technology teams for necessary updates.
  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews of business requirements for approval.
  • Identify risks and dependencies, assessing their impact on business and technology.
  • Support technology partners throughout the requirement development and implementation phases.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of risk management principles and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with the financial regulatory landscape and its complexities.
  • Knowledge of data ownership and the development of data-driven products.
  • Understanding of key disciplines related to Change Management and Operations.
