Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Service Representative to join our team at EDSI Solutions. As a Business Service Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with employers, linking job seekers with employers, and supporting outreach efforts to promote our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Refer new employers to our Business Services Team Lead
  • Contact employers to schedule face-to-face meetings and introduce them to our services and training programs
  • Develop a network of potential business leads and reconnect employers who no longer utilize our services
  • Act as an ambassador and concierge to the business community, developing and maintaining relationships with Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development, and other business-oriented groups
  • Develop and distribute electronic and paper outreach materials in collaboration with our CareerLink Site Supervisor and partners
  • Generate new and recurring job openings, including those generated by serving the incumbent workforce
  • Support employers in the use of our Commonwealth Workforce Development System and PA CareerLink websites
  • Identify employer positions listed on the regional target list
  • Train employers to use our job order system and explain how to input job orders
  • Meet with Subject Matter Experts to build Job Task Analysis
  • Utilize Skilldex to complete JTAs
  • Enter all employer information and employer contacts into our systems and monitor employer activities
  • Interface with other employer company departments and employees
  • Provide target estimates or goals and periodic progress reports
  • Represent EDSI Solutions at conferences, meetings, and targeted social functions as required
  • Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Post and maintain job orders in our system, enter employer services, and open new business folders
  • Set up recurrent job fairs
  • Initiate and promote our On-The-Job (OJT) Training Program with employers
  • Create and distribute written and graphic content on behalf of EDSI Solutions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with marketing, sales, and customer service experience
  • Ability to make presentations to large groups of people
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in Graphic Design, Web Design, and Social Media Platforms is preferred
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record required
