Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Operations Manager to join our team at StarrTrax. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects and initiatives that drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management:
    • Lead site-wide operations projects, complex initiatives, and capital projects to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, building and motivating team members to achieve set objectives and adhering to project milestones.
    • Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders and participate in project meetings and discussions.
    • Monitor, track, and control project outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
    • Provide regular status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
    • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project teams, sponsors, steering committees, and key stakeholders.
    • Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
    • Apply project and program management principles, methods, and techniques to drive business results.
    • Handle change requests and ensure financial project forecasts accuracy.
  • Engineering and Machine Technology:
    • Evaluate machine purchasing and installation requests to ensure alignment with business needs and objectives.
    • Analyze and illustrate interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs to inform decision-making.
    • Define technical aspects and specifications for requested machines and support equipment to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
    • Monitor compliance requirements, including specifications, accepted engineering practices, codes, company standards, and applicable safety regulations.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, methods, and best practices and advise management on machine-related technology questions.
    • Prepare estimates and project plans for manufacturing-related projects and activities.
    • Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering and construction work to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
    • Makes project engineering judgment decisions to drive business results.
    • Provide data for management decisions by using estimates, quotes, layouts, and project plans.
    • Ensure effective stakeholder communication between engineers, architects, contractors, and within the organization.
    • Evaluate requirements and develop machine specifications to ensure alignment with business needs and objectives.
  • Your Profile:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
    • 3-5 years of project engineering experience within a manufacturing setting.
