Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing a diverse range of challenging projects
  • Leading a skilled team of engineers and technicians
  • Providing mentorship to junior staff members
  • Engaging with clients and liaising with local and state agencies, including participation in public hearings
  • Managing project scopes, timelines, and financials
  • Drafting contracts and reviewing financial documents
  • Ensuring technical precision, adherence to standard engineering practices, and the inclusion of necessary documentation in project plans, reports, and design documents
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of experience in traffic engineering, working with both private and public clients
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Strong communication skills for public engagements and collaboration with governmental agencies
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory
  • Familiarity with traffic analysis software applications (e.g., Synchro/SimTraffic and HCS)
Essential Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend plans and instructions in English
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to create and modify Microsoft Word and Excel documents, manage Outlook emails, and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for team communication
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety vests, work boots, and safety glasses while on the job
