Position Overview

The ERP Implementation Manager plays a vital role within the Information Services department, focusing on defining and leading projects related to ERP initiatives. This position encompasses comprehensive management responsibilities, including business analysis, project planning, resource allocation, reporting, and budget oversight. The role requires effective communication across all business levels to ensure successful project execution and will report to the Senior Director of the Program Management Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct business process evaluations during initial assessments and project preparations.
  • Assist in project planning by developing Project Charters and defining stakeholder roles and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage large-scale cross-functional projects, including system upgrades and new implementations.
  • Provide guidance on organizational change management related to project rollouts.
  • Maintain project timelines and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Oversee hands-on project management, ensuring timelines, targets, and budgets are adhered to.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure project objectives are achieved within established timeframes and budgets.
  • Maintain the PMO dashboard and ensure project statuses are current.
  • Communicate any risks or issues impacting project timelines, scope, or budget to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage change control processes and quality assurance for projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors to assess costs, review contracts, and ensure timely delivery of business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field; PMP certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in ERP initiatives.
  • Experience leading projects across various business functions, including IT, Operations, Marketing, and Finance.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a business analyst is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, with a preference for MS Project or Smartsheet.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Demonstrated success in managing diverse business and technical projects.
  • Experience presenting to senior management.
  • Ability to develop and track project budgets.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in organizational change management.
  • Excellent vendor management capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
