About the Role

Garnet Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Experience Navigator to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Experience team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patient complaints and grievances, working closely with our leadership team to resolve issues and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the Language Assistance Program (LAP) in accordance with Department of Health (DOH) and DNV regulations, including annual assessments and staff training.
  • Assist patients and families with notarizing documents, under the direction of Risk Management and after successful completion of NYS Notary Public Certification.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • A minimum of two-four years of experience in acute healthcare, with a focus on patient care services, physician practice, or hospital performance improvement.
  • Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting skills, as well as proficiency in computer software, including Excel.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and facilitate team-based change.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Working Conditions
  • Works in a clean, well-lit, heated, or ventilated facility, with no routine exposure to hazards.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods, with the ability to lift 10 pounds.
  • Mental demands include fostering collaborative relationships, working well under pressure, and prioritizing tasks.
Compensation

The compensation for this role is $37.48 hourly, with a range of benefits and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
