Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Supervisor to join our team at Insight Global. As a Quality Supervisor, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of our QMS, ensuring it is aligned with ISO 9001 certification requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering, to resolve supplier quality issues and ensure effective quality systems.
- Reestablish a quality focus with the Quality Inspection team and interface between design and manufacturing for testing needs.
- Lead efforts to define and improve the QMS, including developing procedures, conducting audits, and monitoring returned goods.
- Apply the 8D problem-solving process to resolve quality issues and implement tools for QMS data automation.
- Support Lean initiatives and oversee vendor qualification to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Assist engineering in interpreting UL or IEC requirements and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
Requirements
- 5 years of Quality Control experience.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related science.
- Deep understanding of ISO 9001, IEC, UL Regulations, and audit-facing experience.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent knowledge of statistical software, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an electronic manufacturing industry.
- Some Lean or Six Sigma Training.
