Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our production management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of critical Rotor-head and Transmission components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of hourly employees engaged in parts manufacturing, bonding, and sub-assembly processes.
  • Ensure that our high standards of quality and efficiency are met, contributing directly to the success of our products.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve overall manufacturing performance.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with company goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in machine shop manufacturing environment.
  • Manufacturing supervisory experience in a Union environment.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and be flexible.
  • Must be able to lead a team and manage/resolve employee conflict.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge on collective bargaining agreement and dealing with hourly/union employees.
  • Operate in a team environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, SAP, and Solumina.
  • Strong manufacturing background in parts manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated skills with lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of Quality systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
