Production Scheduler

This position is a long-term assignment focused on effective production planning and scheduling.
Essential Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develops, organizes, and manages production timelines while aligning with material requirements to ensure a seamless flow of approved materials for production.
2. Oversees the movement of materials between storage and production areas.
3. Keeps management informed about the progress of work, availability of materials, and any potential production challenges to guarantee that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are available as required.
4. Coordinates scheduling of equipment and workforce, verifies material supply and demand, and generates work orders or purchase requests based on a comprehensive production schedule, workload, and inventory needs.
5. Facilitates interdepartmental collaboration with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory management, logistics, and contract administration; schedules and accelerates the movement of components through move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, or equivalent experience and education.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time, 4/10 work schedule, 1st Shift.
