Role Summary:

The Scan Verification Associate I plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of all correspondence dispatched from the Clarity Output Solutions (COS) facility. This position employs various proprietary and third-party tools to audit tasks prior to their release from the facility. The Scan Verification Associate I is tasked with confirming that all jobs scheduled for the day are executed according to COS standards. A sharp attention to detail and adept problem-solving abilities are essential for identifying and rectifying issues related to missing or damaged items. This role reports to the Director of Production Operations for the Second Shift or the Quality Assurance Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciles piece counts for all inserted jobs.
  • Conducts necessary quality control (QC) inspections on each task in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Reviews reports and signatures on job tickets to verify that all production stages have been documented.
  • Records all necessary recoveries for items within jobs that require attention.
  • Identifies and segregates jobs that are incomplete or need further work for reconciliation.
  • Utilizes COS proprietary QC systems to align cards with carriers.
  • Collaborates with other departments to meet manufacturing objectives.
  • Assists with light maintenance and cleaning tasks as required.
  • Maintains general housekeeping duties, including waste removal and facility upkeep.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Educational Background:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.


Experience & Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a quality control or manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Proficient in navigating web browsers.
  • Basic math and reading skills are essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Capability to stand on a concrete floor for extended periods.
  • Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, twist, and bend freely.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
