Role Summary:

The Scan Verification Associate I plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of all correspondence dispatched from the Clarity Output Solutions (COS) facility. This role employs various proprietary and third-party tools to audit jobs prior to their release from the facility. The Scan Verification Associate I is tasked with guaranteeing that all jobs scheduled for the day are executed according to COS specifications. This position requires a meticulous eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities to identify and rectify issues related to missing or damaged items. Reporting to the Director of Production Operations for the Second Shift or the Quality Assurance Manager is a key aspect of this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile piece counts for all inserted jobs.
  • Conduct necessary quality control (QC) inspections on each job in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Review reports and signatures on job tickets to confirm all production stages are logged accurately.
  • Document all necessary recoveries for pieces within jobs requiring attention.
  • Identify and segregate jobs that are incomplete or need further action to reconcile.
  • Utilize COS proprietary QC systems to align cards with carriers.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to meet manufacturing objectives.
  • Assist with light maintenance and cleaning tasks as required.
  • Maintain general housekeeping duties including upkeep of the facility and waste removal.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.


Experience & Skills:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in navigating web browsers is required.
  • Basic mathematical and reading skills are essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely push/pull up to 100 lbs.

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
