Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team at Tyonek Native Corporation. As a key member of our Contracts Team, you will be responsible for providing direct support to the Contracts Manager and will be required to evaluate, analyze, and administer awards and close out of prime contract agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration: Assist in the proposal and negotiation phase of new contract awards and then administer and monitor contract performance from cradle to grave on major government contracts.
  • Deltek CostPoint Experience: Review project set-up in Deltek CostPoint and ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
  • Contract Award Management: Review, interpret, and distribute contract awards and modifications, and assist Program Managers and Project Control Analysts in monitoring and reporting project cost and status.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with contract regulations and provide contract guidance, interpretation, and direction to other team members.
  • Contract Research and Resolution: Identify potential contract issues and take proactive steps to resolve them, and gather data and prepare reports to support managerial decision making.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining contract files, preparing contract documents, and providing support for setting up and monitoring contract performances.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with 10-14 years of experience in contracts-related field, or 6 years with a Master's, or 12 years of progressive experience in administrative field with focus on federal government/military contracting and in-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS, SCA, DCAA compliance.
  • Deltek CostPoint Experience: Strong experience with Deltek CostPoint, including Sales Order Module, Project Setup, cost tracking, and reporting.
  • Contract Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of all federal government contract types, and excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential job functions, including walking, standing, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
