General Description

Contracts Administrator IV/Sr. Contract Administrator will provide direct support to the Contracts Manager and will be required to evaluate, analyze, and administer awards and close out of prime contract agreements. Deltek CostPoint experience is required. This position is eligible for hybrid or remote work.

Duties

  • This position will support the Contracts Team by assisting in the proposal and negotiation phase of new contract awards and then administering and monitoring contract performance from cradle to grave on major government contracts.
  • Review of project set-up in Deltek CostPoint
  • Review, interpret, incorporate into Sharepoint and distribute contract awards and modifications
  • Assist Program Managers and Project Control Analysts in monitoring and reporting project cost and status
  • Assist Program Management in tracking, reviewing and submitting Contract Deliverable Requirements (CDRL's)
  • Review and execute NDA's, Teaming Agreements and Consulting Agreements
  • Support Subcontracts team by interpreting the requirements of government Statement of Work and Prime contract terms and conditions including all flow down requirements
  • Review and complete Representations and Certifications
  • Understanding of contract regulations; providing contract guidance, interpretation and direction to other team members, while ensuring compliance
  • Identifies protentional contract issues with ability to become actively involved in taking actions for resolution
  • Gather data and prepare reports to support managerial decision making for contractual provision as needed
  • Maintain contract files in accordance with organizational processes and procedures
  • Prepare contract files and electronic documents
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks
  • Research and resolve contract issues, including research on older contracts, payment concerns, etc.
  • Provide support for setting-up and monitoring contract performances, while being responsible for modification distributions, collections and payments
  • Assist with creation and streamlining of departmental processes, procedures, workflows
  • Train other team members in departmental processes, procedures, and workflows as needed
  • Works effectively under direct supervision; typically reports to a manager
  • Exercise sound business judgment
  • Other Duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 10-14 years of experience in contracts related field-OR-6 years with a Master's-OR-12 years of progressive experience in administrative field with focus on federal government/military contracting and in-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARS, SCA, DCAA compliance
  • Deltek CostPoint experience preferred (Sales Order Module, Project Setup, cost tracking, reporting)
  • Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures of all federal government contract types
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper use
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Experience in researching government billing utilizing Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF)
  • Works well in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment with some requirement for irregular hours
  • SharePoint experience required
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines within a critical schedule
  • Attention to critical details
