Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Rexa, Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales activities for the region, supporting the Channel Partner Network, and selling in direct accounts in parts of assigned territory to ensure revenues from this region meet corporate goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Direct Territory:**
    • Establish relationships with key accounts to drive business growth and contribute to their business goals
    • Work directly with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
  • **Drive Performance of Channel Partners Sales Force:**
    • Facilitate product training for customers and representatives to enhance their knowledge and skills
    • Assist representatives with making and closing sales calls to drive revenue growth
    • Focus representatives on target applications to increase sales and revenue
    • Drive the representative network to actively pursue and support key focus industry initiatives and applications
    • Facilitate strategic territory/account development sessions to identify new business opportunities
    • Assess network performance on a regular basis, provide updates, and make necessary changes to upgrade performance
  • **Work with Inside Sales Team:**
    • Collaborate with the inside sales team to develop and execute sales strategies
    • Work together to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • **Support Service:**
    • Coordinate service-related activities and start-ups with representatives and end-users
  • **Support Marketing Initiatives:**
    • Support marketing initiatives such as new target applications, white papers, ROI analysis, and marketing/sales literature
    • Participate in trade shows and other marketing events to promote Rexa, Inc.'s products and services

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Three to five years of outside sales experience selling engineered process controls equipment
  • Process instrumentation/valve automation, rotating equipment, and/or hydraulic/fluid power sales background a plus
  • Experience in the valve, actuator, flow controls, or related industries – prior transferable experience, such as inside sales and field service, is acceptable
  • Experience managing manufacturers' representatives
  • Training in strategic sales process (i.e. Miller Heiman or similar)
  • Experience selling into one or more of the following market segments: Power, Pipeline, Steel, Refinery
  • Experience doing business with major/key accounts in the region

**Preferred Skills:**

  • Above-average organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (verbal & written)
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lead training sessions
  • A self-starter, able to operate independently within the assigned markets and territory
  • Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Software
  • Valid driver's license

**Working Conditions:**

  • 50% travel
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to fly on airplanes
  • Able to lift a 50 lb. demo case
