Roundhouse Communities LLC, a rapidly expanding developer and manager of a variety of real estate ventures, is in search of a motivated individual to join our team as a Real Estate Financial Analyst. Established in 2008, we operate across multiple states, managing over 7,000 multi-family units and an impressive portfolio of assets exceeding $1.5 billion. This role will report directly to the Controller and is based in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the monthly financial reporting close process and record journal entries to accurately reflect property-level business activities, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts with sub-ledgers and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Review corporate credit card statements and manage expense reports.
  • Assist in the compilation and preparation of supporting schedules for interim and annual tax returns.
  • Prepare and coordinate operating, capital improvement, and construction budgets in collaboration with Asset Management and Development teams.
  • Aid in due diligence requests related to acquisitions, financing, and refinancing activities.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual debt compliance packages along with other corporate schedules.
  • Act as a liaison between the Accounting and Asset Management teams to provide financial analyses, including property operating results and leasing data as part of the monthly financial reporting package.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for executive management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficient in US GAAP accrual basis of accounting.
  • Skilled in business-related software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
