Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our Real Estate team and contribute to the development, deployment, and management of data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database technologies, ETL processes, and big data tools such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Alteryx.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain robust ETL processes to support data integration from various sources
  • Manage and optimize databases on SQL server, ensuring data integrity and security
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain Alteryx workflows for data preparation, blending and analytics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate into data solutions to support advanced analytics
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, including complex query writing, database design, and performance optimization
  • Knowledge of Python and/or R
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services, such as Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow) and Alteryx (Designer, Server)
  • Solid understanding of data governance and security
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

What We Offer

Albertsons Companies offers a competitive salary range of $82,900.00 to $107,680.00 annually, with flexibility for exceptional candidates. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation Pay, paid holidays, bereavement pay, and retirement benefits.
