As a newly appointed Sales Consultant, you will engage in the comprehensive Richmond American Homes Sales Training program. This program encompasses various phases, including initial orientation, foundational training, systems education, job shadowing, and practical selling experience.

The training is tailored for individuals at all skill levels, focusing on hands-on learning to ensure successful graduation from the program within a defined timeframe.


Key Responsibilities

- Participate in training on company policies and procedures through a mix of self-directed exercises, instructor-led sessions, and shadowing seasoned sales associates.
- Travel between different communities to provide support as necessary.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective customers.
- Engage in networking and prospecting activities.
- Grasp the customer experience touchpoints to ensure high-quality service and guide buyers through the home purchasing process.
- Complete necessary contract documentation accurately and promptly, a prerequisite for promotion to Sales Consultant.
- Gather and analyze market data essential for maintaining competitiveness in our communities.
- Adhere to standard sales office hours while demonstrating flexibility to accommodate customer schedules.

Successfully complete all required training programs, achieve necessary sales targets, and secure management approval for promotion to Sales Consultant.


Qualifications

- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Availability to work weekends.
- A Real Estate License is mandatory in all states except CO, MD, TX, and VA.
- Previous experience in high-end sales is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional relationships.
- Action-oriented individuals with a commitment to closing sales successfully.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation, as travel within and between communities is a core function of this role.

All new hires will undergo a week of sales training at our corporate office during their initial month of employment.

Compensation

Base Salary:
$25.00 per hour during the training program.

Estimated Annual Compensation with Commissions:
$80,000 - $130,000.
