Position Summary:
The Senior Associate/Vice President in Investment & Corporate Banking will play a pivotal role in the origination, structuring, and execution of various financial transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt capital markets, and leveraged finance. This position requires a deep understanding of the Power & Utilities sector, as well as the ability to identify industry trends and leverage junior team members to produce high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Associate/Vice President, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging in client meetings and contributing to business development initiatives.
  • Creating and preparing detailed pitch materials tailored to the Power & Utilities sectors.
  • Conducting comprehensive financial analyses and due diligence for client transactions, including M&A and capital structure development.
  • Performing financial modeling, valuation, and market-specific analysis.
  • Facilitating idea generation and solution development across a diverse range of global capabilities.
  • Drafting marketing materials and internal documentation related to various financing options.
  • Assisting in transaction structuring, evaluation, and execution.
  • Fostering and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • An MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or Economics, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking or corporate finance.
  • A profound understanding of the Power & Utilities industry, with direct experience in related banking transactions.
  • Expertise in corporate finance, securities, and financial markets.
  • The ability to synthesize complex information and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis tools such as FactSet, CapitalIQ, and Bloomberg.
  • Relevant certifications, including Series 79 & 63.

Compensation:
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $200K to $275K, with offers contingent upon various factors including skills, experience, and education. In addition to a competitive salary, successful candidates will be eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
