Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Tuerk House will play a pivotal role as a strategic partner, providing leadership and direction for all HR functions and initiatives. This position will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure that HR strategies align with the organization’s goals. Key responsibilities encompass talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement HR strategies and programs that support the organization’s objectives and enhance the employee experience.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring effective onboarding and retention strategies are in place.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performance culture through performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Lead the HR team to ensure optimal organizational structure and staffing levels.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, negotiating with providers to secure competitive and cost-effective options.
  • Provide guidance to management on employee relations, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct regular assessments of employee satisfaction and engagement, implementing changes to improve workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Advise the executive team on HR-related legal matters and employee relations strategies.
  • Analyze workforce metrics to inform staffing and operational decisions.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to identify and address talent gaps within the organization.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement by leveraging HR technology and best practices.
  • Ensure that performance evaluations align with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
  • Establish annual HR objectives and prioritize initiatives to address organizational needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum of five to seven years of HR management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. A degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as PHR or SPHR.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of HR policies and practices, with the ability to influence and build relationships across the organization. Excellent project management and analytical skills are essential. A proactive approach to management and a commitment to employee engagement are critical for success in this role.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based, requiring effective communication and interaction with team members and stakeholders.
