Specialty Sales Account Manager

Compensation Package:
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000, plus commission. Compensation is determined by industry experience.

Position Overview:
The Specialty Account Executive is tasked with building and nurturing relationships with referral sources within a designated sales territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Senior Management to enhance efficiency, product knowledge, and sales skills to achieve personal and organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to meet and exceed projected annual sales targets.
- Proactively seek orders from existing and potential clients.
- Address customer complaints in line with company policies and promptly inform management.
- Create territory plans to maximize efficiency in meeting customer needs and pursue new business opportunities.
- Educate referral sources on all CSI services that align with customer needs and benefits.
- Formulate competitive strategies based on market analysis.
- Adhere to all company policies and directives to achieve maximum profitable sales.
- Timely completion and submission of all required reports.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with company guidelines.
- Meet established standards for selling skills, product knowledge, account penetration, competitive awareness, professional demeanor, and budget adherence.
- Assist management with special projects, including market tests, surveys, budget development, and territory analysis.
- Deliver high-quality service to home-care patients and referral sources.
- Participate in conventions, trade shows, and in-services related to IV therapy.
- Consistently represent the company in a professional manner.
- Foster effective working relationships and collaborate with all company personnel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated professionalism, responsiveness, and communication skills to cultivate and maintain a robust customer base.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
Education and Experience:
- Preferred: College degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years in medical sales or related experience.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must be able to perform essential functions of the job, including regular communication, standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, and using hands for various tasks. The role may require lifting and moving items up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment:
This position typically operates in an office setting and involves the use of standard office equipment. Employees may travel by automobile and encounter varying weather conditions.
Note: Successful completion of a drug screening is part of the employment process.
