Position Summary: The Specialty Account Executive is tasked with developing and nurturing relationships with referral sources within the assigned sales territory.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties are essential to the role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:

  • Work collaboratively with Senior Management to enhance operational efficiency, product expertise, and sales capabilities to achieve both personal and organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to meet and surpass projected annual sales targets.
  • Proactively seek orders from existing and potential clients.
  • Address customer complaints in alignment with company policies and promptly inform management.
  • Create strategic territory plans to maximize efficiency in addressing customer needs and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Educate referral sources about all CSI Pharmacy services relevant to customer requirements and advantages.
  • Formulate competitive strategies based on market analysis.
  • Adhere to all company policies, directives, and instructions to fulfill organizational goals and optimize profitable sales.
  • Timely completion and submission of all required reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and files in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Meet established standards for:
    • Sales proficiency
    • Product knowledge
    • Account and territory engagement
    • Competitive awareness
    • Professional demeanor and conduct
    • Expense management within the sales budget
  • Assist management with special projects, including market testing, surveys, budget development, and territory assessments.
  • Deliver high-quality services to home-care patients and referral sources.
  • Participate in conventions, trade shows, and training sessions related to IV therapy.
  • Consistently represent the organization in a professional manner.
  • Foster effective working relationships and collaborate with all company personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Possess a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance, and have access to a reliable vehicle.
Education and Experience
  • Preferred: College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years in medical sales or a related field.
