Job Overview

Compensation Package:

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000, plus commission. Compensation is determined by industry experience.

Position Summary: The Specialty Account Executive is tasked with building and nurturing relationships with referral sources within a specified sales territory.

Key Responsibilities

The following duties are essential to the role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:

  • Work collaboratively with Senior Management to enhance efficiency, product knowledge, and sales skills to achieve personal and company objectives.
  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to meet and exceed projected annual sales revenue targets.
  • Proactively seek orders from existing and potential clients.
  • Address customer complaints in alignment with company policies and promptly inform management.
  • Create territory plans to optimize service delivery and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Educate referral sources about all CSI services relevant to customer needs and advantages.
  • Formulate competitive strategies based on market analysis.
  • Adhere to all company policies, instructions, and directives to fulfill company goals and maximize profitable sales.
  • Timely completion and submission of all required reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and files as per company guidelines.
  • Meet established company standards in the following areas:
    • Sales proficiency
    • Product expertise
    • Account and territory engagement
    • Market awareness
    • Professional demeanor and conduct
    • Expense management within the company sales budget
  • Assist management with special projects, including market testing, surveys, budget development, and territory assessments.
  • Deliver high-quality services to home-care patients and referral sources.
  • Participate in conventions, trade shows, and training sessions related to IV therapy.
  • Consistently represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Foster effective working relationships and collaborate with all company personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Exhibit the highest level of professionalism, responsiveness, and communication to build and maintain a robust customer base.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Possess a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance, and have access to a reliable vehicle.
Education and Experience
  • Preferred: College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years in medical sales or a related field.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands for this position include:

  • Regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, and using hands for various tasks.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment

This position typically operates in a standard office environment, utilizing common office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The role may involve travel by automobile and exposure to varying weather conditions.
