Role Objective:
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee a team of technicians dedicated to the production and developmental tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of RF Passive and Active electronic components, with a particular emphasis on thin film technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, modify, and calibrate standard testing apparatus or device test equipment to execute functional, operational, and environmental assessments, ensuring the performance and reliability of hardware for aerospace applications.
- Utilize a microscope for biasing, aligning, tuning, and setting temperature compensations within specified requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing across multiple workstations, adjusting test setups to enhance RF performance using specialized or standard testing equipment in accordance with engineering and quality documentation.
- Document findings and provide recommendations for rework or repairs as necessary.
- Employ various testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, Digital Volt Meters, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Network Analyzers. Operate essential laboratory equipment like thermal chambers and ovens to perform environmental assessments related to temperature.
- Analyze and interpret electrical/RF testing data, diagnosing malfunctions and delivering feedback on test results to the responsible engineering team.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess the ability to comprehend and adhere to Quality policies and ISO directives. The role requires physical capability to move test racks and equipment to facilitate testing setups across different work areas. Experience in an ISO9001 / SAE AS9100 environment is essential, along with the flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime as needed.
Experience and Education:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in thin film RF/Electrical tuning, testing, and troubleshooting is required, along with an Associate's or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology.
Preferred Skills:
A strong background in thin film electronics RF tuning and testing is preferred, particularly in adherence to established procedures and attention to detail. Experience within the defense or aerospace sectors is advantageous. Familiarity with Windows PC operating systems is also beneficial. As this is an ITAR facility, applicants must be U.S. Citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $79,000 - $95,513. Additionally, Sanmina offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for personal and vacation needs.
