Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, analyze, and track critical metrics and progress towards established objectives.
  • Implement strategies to address and improve negative trends in admissions and discharges.
  • Develop and execute plans to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Utilize monthly performance data to evaluate progress towards targets.
  • Monitor and analyze volume, case mix growth, CMS %, payer mix %, and patient functional outcomes to ensure quality service lines.
  • Communicate market opportunities and challenges to senior leadership.
  • Oversee all marketing operations, including recruitment and staffing.
  • Train marketing personnel on tools, budget management, sales techniques, and territory oversight to achieve volume targets.
  • Effectively relay financial data and operational indicators to marketing and relevant staff.
  • Understand and manage the admissions process.
  • Oversee insurance verification, pre-certification requirements, bed control, hospital discharges, and other barriers.
  • Comprehend and manage the reimbursement system.
  • Direct the reimbursement system concerning volume impact, resource utilization, and length of stay management to promote quality outcomes.
  • Identify new product lines and repackage existing offerings in collaboration with hospital leadership.
  • Drive grassroots initiatives as necessary based on industry conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with referral sources to market and educate on service offerings.
  • Develop marketing materials and coordinate advertising efforts in alignment with corporate support to meet market needs.
  • Plan and manage marketing, media outreach, and public relations activities to boost volume.
  • Utilize CRM tools for creating, tracking, and managing liaison territory activities and referrals.
  • Prepare 30 days of activities in advance.
  • Complete pre-call planning for at least 95% of activities as outlined in the sales cycle.
  • Document results and follow-up actions for a minimum of 95% of all activities.
