Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Brand Strategist is tasked with crafting and implementing customer-centric and impactful integrated marketing strategies for the North American Water Treatment Professional channel, targeting Water Quality Dealers, contractors, wholesalers, and plumbing professionals. The ideal candidate is a results-driven, imaginative, and analytical marketing professional.

The Marketing Brand Strategist will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and will frequently collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Product Development, Engineering, and Procurement.

Core Duties
  • Design and implement integrated marketing strategies for the North American Water Treatment Professional channel's business lines and brands.
  • Collaborate across departments with Sales, Customer Support, Product Development, Engineering, and other business leaders to prioritize and guide initiatives and projects from inception to completion.
  • Plan and execute product launches across various product lines and marketing platforms.
  • Develop and implement communication campaigns aimed at attracting new customers and retaining existing ones.
  • Lead the strategy for trade show events and coordinate three to five trade shows annually.
  • Utilize customer insights and competitive analysis to influence merchandising across multiple brands, emphasizing product features and benefits while ensuring consistency across all channels and customer interactions.
  • Provide updates on the progress of marketing initiatives and their outcomes.
  • Conduct regular brand assessments and monitor key brand metrics, including share of voice, referral traffic, social media engagement, and more.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing; B2B marketing experience is advantageous.
  • Highly creative in developing marketing campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate audiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities, able to manage and prioritize a diverse range of projects with varying timelines and scopes.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify challenges, formulate hypotheses, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with strong initiative and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required.
Education

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a Related Field

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
