Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Senior Recruiter collaborates closely with HR Business Partners and management to align workforce strategies with organizational needs. This role is pivotal in fostering strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates, both internal and external. The Senior Recruiter is responsible for crafting and executing effective recruitment strategies, plans, and marketing campaigns tailored to meet the hiring objectives of our internal clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture robust partnerships with internal stakeholders while leading the comprehensive recruitment process.
  • Develop diverse sourcing channels, including candidate pipelines, to attract top-tier active and passive candidates, utilizing technology for an efficient recruitment process.
  • Identify and implement innovative sourcing strategies tailored to specific job roles through thorough research and resource utilization.
  • Provide training to recruitment team members on new digital platforms, networking groups, and innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Consult with HR Business Partners and management to develop recruitment planning models that align with workforce needs and ensure compliance with budgetary and regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee candidate sourcing efforts to maintain a diverse and qualified applicant pool through various outreach methods.
  • Coordinate the preparation and evaluation of the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Manage the selection and implementation of appropriate candidate assessments, ensuring consistency and compliance with AAP guidelines.
  • Facilitate the employment offer process, ensuring adherence to policies and thorough documentation.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process for visa-sponsored candidates, ensuring all necessary documentation is properly managed.
  • Analyze HR hiring metrics and collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop strategic solutions.
  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of recruitment systems and policies.
  • Deliver services that align with departmental guiding principles and support the organization's mission and values.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and records at all times.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and share knowledge with team members.
  • Participate in budget formulation and long-term planning as part of the HR team.
  • Support the development and coordination of training programs to enhance management and staff capabilities.
  • Lead or participate in sub-teams focused on process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for HR staff on complex employment matters.
  • Regularly meet with HR Business Partners to ensure alignment with organizational workforce needs.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on process improvement projects.
  • Focus on teamwork and communication to enhance the efficiency of HR services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with all relevant policies and standards.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years in a full life-cycle recruiting role is required.
  • 5 years of experience in candidate sourcing is required.
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience in a high-volume recruitment environment, utilizing behavioral interviewing techniques, is required.
  • Experience in scientific recruitment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in workforce segmentation, employment branding, and metrics is required.
  • Experience in developing strategic recruitment plans for various service lines is required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Familiarity with integrated HRIS and talent management systems is preferred.
  • Experience in coordinating Affirmative Action Plans is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and compensation practices is required.
  • Ability to strategically analyze market data and develop comprehensive sourcing strategies is required.
  • Experience in coaching hiring teams on best practices is required.
  • Problem-solving skills related to recruitment processes are essential.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex recruitment plans is required.
  • Excellent project management and business literacy skills are required.
  • Strong sense of urgency and results-oriented mindset is essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including negotiation and presentation abilities, are required.
  • Track record of building strong customer relationships while delivering excellent service is required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of management is required.
  • Experience working effectively within a matrix environment is required.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred.
