About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team at American Tower. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving and securing wireless asset leasing deals in the West region of the U.S. market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively market and lease communications infrastructure to assigned customers.
  • Develop clear, impactful sales account plans for each assigned customer.
  • Broaden/deepen key relationships within customer accounts to increase account knowledge and influence.
  • Understand customer's business, network build plans and budget/approval process to provide impactful customer intelligence to national account leaders.
  • Identify new business opportunities with named wireless carriers, tower owners, consultants and other new prospects through research, calls, meetings and presentations.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of all product and service offerings in the American Tower Portfolio.
  • Provide accurate and timely pipeline and lease-up forecasting in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales or business development experience required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of wireless, telecommunications or real estate industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proximity to work in the pacific time zone strongly preferred.
  • Experience using forecasting tools such as Salesforce preferred.
  • Approximately 50% travel may be required in support of the position's responsibilities.
